Night Of Champions Preview

In what will no doubt be one of the most unique (or should we say “flawless?”) bouts at Night of Champions, Divas Champion Melina will face one half of the self-proclaimed “Co-Women’s Champions,” Team Lay-Cool, in a match that will unify the Women’s and Divas titles – a feat of such magnitude that every WWE Diva will be at ringside to witness it. Returning from injury to capture the Divas Championship at SummerSlam, Melina has every reason to be in a celebratory mood these days. However, SmackDown’s resident “mean girls,” Michelle McCool & Layla, have bullied the Latina lovely over the past several weeks with a series of verbal and physical assaults. When Team Lay-Cool revealed they had a surprise in store for Melina on Raw’s 900th episode celebration, the Divas Champ was justifiably skeptical. Confronting Melina with a dose of their infamously candid “real talk,” Lay-Cool accused the Diva of being “forgettable,” proposing a Championship Unification Match at Night of Champions to determine the most deserving titleholder in the Divas division. Either Michelle or Layla will battle Melina, and the winner will leave Night of Champions with both the Women’s and the Divas Championships, unifying the titles for the first time in history. Melina accepted the challenge, but given Lay-Cool’s inclination to bend the rules, the Divas Champion demanded that every WWE Diva on the roster be at ringside as lumberjacks to ensure that this indeed a fair fight – a near-foreign concept to the cunning “Co-Women’s Champs.” Can Melina unify the Divas and Women’s Titles at Night of Champions? Or will SmackDown’s boastful BFFs split yet another championship? Find out by tuning in to Night of Champions, Sept. 19, only on pay-per-view.

NXT + RAW

Last monday on RAW!, Melina & Eve beat Michelle & Layla. At the end of the match, Michelle & Layla proposed a unification of the titles for the one who will win the match at Night Of Champions ! Melina accepted on a condition : that the match is a Lumberjack match !

Oh, it is so on! After weeks of self-professed “Co-Women’s Champions” Layla & Michelle McCool taunting Divas Champion Melina, it’s time to put up or shut up. After Melina and her partner, Eve, defeated Lay-Cool in a Divas Tag Team Match, the real-life “mean girls” made Melina an offer she couldn’t refuse: One of them will face her at Night of Champions, and the winner will unify the Divas and Women’s Championships. The lovely Latina agreed – on one condition. To ensure the match would be clean, she insisted that all of her fellow Divas be allowed to surround the ring in a Lumberjack Match. Reluctantly, Lay-Cool agreed before storming off in a high school huff.

I also added photos from the last NXT episode. And the season 2's winner is... KAVAL ! Congratulations !

Latest news

Sorry of the delay, further to a big error of my computer, the new updates were not posted... I had spent time to make them now I am downright lazy to redo everything!

So for the last broadcasts of NXT, I invite you to look at photos directly in the Gallery.

Otherwise, Michelle beat Kelly Kelly to WWE Superstars, thanks to a powerful Faithbreaker (let us remind that Tiffany is suspended for the moment, so she can't wrestle !).

Accompanied by NXT season two Rookie, Kaval, and her “bestie,” Layla, the self-professed co-Women’s Champion Michelle McCool arrogantly strutted to the ring to take on the always spunky Kelly Kelly. But while she is usually the assailant, the Team Lay-Cool beauty found herself on the receiving end of a vicious attack from Kelly tonight. Pounding Michelle’s perfect face into the mat, the perky blonde showed off an aggressive side the WWE Universe has rarely seen. Kelly’s rage may have gotten the best of her, however, as McCool was able to reverse an attempted victory roll and nail a brutal Faith Breaker to claim the win.

Smackdown + BE RIGHT BACK

In a match that was supposed to feature Women’s Champion Layla, Official SmackDown Consultant Vickie Guerrero shook things up by having the “Self-professed” Co-Women’s Champion Michelle McCool defend the title. With a hard-hitting Faithbreaker, Michelle stopped Tiffany cold. But just as things were looking peachy keen for Team Lay-Cool, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long threw a wrench in things. Long made it crystal clear. “There’s only one Women’s Championship. And you two need to make up your mind who is going to wear the title. Because if you don’t decide, then next week, I will,” he said.

I go on holidays again, updates will be right back in 2 weeks!

WWE NXT + PPV Money in the bank

I'm back

07/18/10 : MONEY IN THE BANK

Layla beat Kelly Kelly thanks to Michelle's help, on sunday 18 at Money in the Bank. Michelle & Layla keep the title !

Despite a formidable offense, Kelly Kelly could not find a way to defeat Women's Champion Layla. After withstanding Kelly’s best, Layla prevailed and rolled up Kelly for the victory. (PHOTOS) If there is a silver lining to be found for the smart, sexy and powerful blonde, it’s that she has proven it may only be a matter of time before she claims a championship in WWE. In addition to her impressive performance at Money in the Bank, Kelly boasts recent victories over both Layla and the self-proclaimed “Co-Women’s Champion” Michelle McCool on SmackDown. As for the reigning Women’s Champion, her successful title defense proves she is willing do whatever it takes to win. And with Michelle always at her side, it’s going to take strategy and tenacity to topple her.

Layla & Michelle beat Kelly Kelly & Tiffany on WWE Superstars!

Kelly Kelly has scored victories over Layla and Michelle McCool in recent weeks, but tonight she took on both of the self-proclaimed co-Women’s Champions with her pal Tiffany watching her back. As expected, both the SmackDown beauties brought all of their spunk and athleticism to the ring, but Team Lay-Cool’s mean streak was too much for the beautiful Divas to overcome. With the referee distracted, McCool illegally nailed Kelly with a brutal kick to the head, allowing Layla to score a tainted victory for Simply Flawless.

Layla beat Tiffany last friday on Smackdown!

Lay-Cool were accompanied with Kaval, their NXT Rookie. They talked in the microphone before the match; Michelle's parents were in the crowd !

With NXT Rookie Kaval at their side, and Michelle McCool’s parents in attendance, the “self-professed” co-Women’s Champions poked fun at the appearance of the WWE Universe before the match began. Once the action got underway, Women's Champion Layla got down to business and dispatched of Tiffany in quick order. When Tiffany turned her attention to McCool, knocking her from the ring apron, Layla capitalized, hitting her with a neckbreaker for the win.

RAW Diva Battle Royal

After the Viewer's Choice, Divas fought in a Battle Royal match last monday. Michelle & Layla were eliminated by Eve

At the request of 73 percent of the WWE Universe, 12 smart, sexy and powerful WWE Divas participated in an explosive Divas Battle Royal. After evading early elimination by The Bella Twins, conceited Canadian Maryse spent most of the match taking out her frustrations on Eve, eliminating the reigning Divas Champion with Jillian's help before tossing the vocally challenged Diva out of the ring to win the contest.

On WWE Superstars, Michelle beat Tiffany thanks to a Faithbreaker. Unfortunately, there's no video available...

The WWE Universe may not love the arrogant personalities of Michelle McCool & Women’s Champion Layla, but it’s hard to deny their success. The duo’s winning ways continued tonight as Michelle clashed with the gorgeous Tiffany while Layla kept a close eye on the action from ringside. Although the perky Tiffany brought her exciting maneuvers to the bout, her sinister opponent’s vicious offense was simply too much for her to overcome. In the end, Michelle nailed a devastating Faith Breaker to pick up the win.

Vickie announced an Layla & Michelle McCool VS Beth Phoenix handicap match on Smackdown!

Layla made the pin on Beth Phoenix and became the new Women's Champion ! What will happen to Laycool ? We'll see on the next episodes of Smackdown !

At the start, Beth Phoenix thought she was to face Rosa Mendes. However, Raw’s newest GM, Vickie Guerrero, informed The Glamazon that she would have to defend the Women’s Championship against Team Lay-Cool, as Michelle decided to invoke her automatic rematch clause. Despite an impressive effort – including hoisting both of her opponents on her shoulders at one time – the double-Diva assault was too much for Beth to bear. After a collision between Beth and Michelle left both Divas reeling, Layla capitalized and covered Beth to become the new Women’s Champion.

Michelle & Layla beat Kelly Kelly & Tiffany last friday on Smackdown!. After a powerful kick by Michelle, Layla made the pin on Kelly Kelly.

Just 24 hours after Michelle, Layla and SmackDown’s Official Consultant Vickie Guerrero put Kelly Kelly through a “humiliating initiation” on "WWE Superstars" (watch), Tiffany joined forces with SmackDown’s newest Diva against Team Lay-Cool. But retribution was not in the cards. As the official was getting Kelly Kelly back to her corner, Michelle delivered a hard kick to Tiffany from behind, setting up Layla for the victorious neckbreaker.

On WWE Superstars, there was also a Backstage segment with Michelle, Layla, Vickie, Kelly Kelly, Beth Phoenix and Tiffany :

RAW! Draft

Michelle & Layla beat Eve & Maryse on friday night RAW! for the Draft.

Michelle stays in Smackdown, Kelly Kelly and Rosa come in Smackdown and Natalya goes to RAW!

A new year in the blue brand for Michelle !

With both the Raw and SmackDown rosters being represented, the first Draft match of the evening fell to Divas Champion Eve & Maryse representing Raw against Michelle McCool & Layla of SmackDown with the winning brand receiving a Draft pick. Unfortunately for the red brand, Maryse let her ego get the best of her. After relinquishing her Divas Title to Eve a couple of weeks before, the conceited Canadian seemed more interested in fighting with her tag partner, allowing Lay-Cool the opportunity for victory. For their first Draft pick of the evening, SmackDown acquired Kelly Kelly.

Extreme Rules Results

Michelle lost her title yesterday at Extreme Rules against Beth Phoenix in a Extreme Makeover Match...

Both women use objects but Beth finally made the pin thanks to a Glam Slam, even if Layla et Vickie were outside the ring.

Tonight, where do you think Michelle will be draft ? Tell your opinion in the Chatbox and find the results soon on Hey-Michelle

Women’s Champion Michelle McCool couldn’t run forever. For weeks, the self-centered Diva has avoided Beth Phoenix at every turn, doing whatever she could to hold on to her beloved title. But at Extreme Rules there was nowhere left to run. Even with the always underhanded Layla and Vickie Guerrero watching her back, McCool fell to The Glamazon and lost the Women’s Championship in the first-ever Extreme Makeover Match. The showdown between these two talented Divas was a unique one to say the least. Inspired by Michelle’s obsession with beauty, the Extreme Makeover Match called for a ringside table to be littered with items like lipstick, mascara and an ironing board, which the competitors could use to attack each other. And that’s exactly what The Glamazon and the Women’s Champion did. In a wild fracas that saw Layla smashed with a broom, Beth blinded by hair spray and Michelle whacked with a dirty bucket, these Divas truly went to the extreme. But in the end it was a devastating Glam Slam from Beth that sealed Michelle’s fate and gave The Glamazon the Women’s Championship. After having to watch Michelle and Layla’s wretched behavior for months, the WWE Universe was desperate to see the ladies of Lay-Cool get what was coming to them. Since the days before WrestleMania, the devious duo has made life miserable for nearly every Diva on the roster. The final straw came on last Friday’s SmackDown when Michelle and Layla humiliated Beth after a tag bout, slamming her head into an ironing board and smearing lipstick all over her face. Beth Phoenix deserved retribution and she got it at Extreme Rules. But if their track record is any indication, Michelle, Vickie and Layla are already plotting a comeback against Phoenix. What will happen the next time the new Women’s Champion butts head with Lay-Cool and Vickie? Tune in to SmackDown to find out.

Michelle & Layla beat Beth Phoenix and Mickie James (in her last match). Layla made the pin on Mickie. Then they whip Beth into an ironing board and put lipstick on Beth's face.

As Beth Phoenix was busy knocking Women’s Champion Michelle McCool from the ring, Layla hit an earth-shattering neckbreaker to triumph over Mickie James. Afterward, Team Lay-Cool mercilessly attacked and humiliated The Glamazon, ramming her into an ironing board before smearing lipstick all over her face. Who will get swept away in their "Extreme Makeover Match" this Sunday at Extreme Rules?

Michelle also had help from Layla and Vickie.

In the climax of a fast-paced Divas match, Mickie James turned her attention to an interfering Layla, allowing Michelle to deliver a devastating kick to her opponent for the victory. However, when the Women’s Champion continued her attack after the bell, Beth Phoenix stormed into the ring. The Glamazon chased Team Lay-Cool and Official SmackDown Consultant Vickie Guerrero into the London crowd, before returning to the ring to the raise Mickie’s hand.
